    • Quite probable that those are marks that show in the photos taken to confirm turnpoints in racing. Pilots would mount cameras along the rail. (The second camera was just a backup to the first) Rules required that a mark be placed on the canopy that would show in each frame of the film to prove that the camera never moved during the contest…Read More
