1997 Per Ardua Award

For all of the people who were not at Harris Hill when the awards were presented, all should know that George Powell was selected for the 1997 Per Ardua award. This is the most prestigious and important award of the 1-26 Association, for recognition of dedication and service to the Association. George deserves this award for his work as Editor in Chief of, and publishing, our excellent newsletter. George also continually motivates young and old around him to fly the 1-26 and have fum doing it. He was officially presented the award at one of our local 1-26 Skid Row luncheons soon after my return from Harris Hill.
